Although the giant snowstorm stymied our plans for Campfire in New York this year, we’ll be back next year! Mark your calendars for January 28, 2017. Some people may think this will guarantee a major snow storm on that date, but barring another full travel ban by the mayor of NY, we’ll be there.
Pine Island Camp thanks Chambers Hotel for its generous support of our activities in the City. Ben and Emily Swan give it two enthusiastic thumbs up! On your travels to New York City, contact Chambers for a friend of Pine Island Camp rate.

Pine Islanders don’t like to change their plans because of the weather, but they also are trained not to go up the mountain or out on the lake if it would be foolish to do so. I am writing to let you know that, in view of the weather forecast, we are scaling back our plans for Campfire in NYC.
We WILL be at the DUMBO Loft at 6:00 pm on Saturday, January 23 and look forward to spending the evening with whoever chooses to venture out and join us there. The menu and the program will be scaled back, but we promise that we will offer at a minimum awesome Brooklyn pizza, drinks, the chance to hang out with us and other Pine Islanders, and whatever entertainment we can cook up.
Maybe we’ll see you there!

You’re invited to our sixth annual Campfire in NYC! This is an opportunity for alumni, campers, parents and friends to enjoy the same musical, theatrical, and creative improv skills that we’re treated to nightly all summer long at Pine Island Camp. We hope you can join us!
