We are excited to announce an opportunity to join Pine Island Camp’s year-round leadership team as our new Associate Director. This vital role will support the camp’s mission by ensuring the smooth operation of pre-season, summer, and off-season activities, with a strong emphasis on staff development, logistics, and community engagement.
The Associate Director will work closely with the Director and the Director of Operations to coordinate key aspects of camp, from communicating with vendor and community partners, to completing administrative and clerical tasks, to overseeing summer programming and special traditions like the King’s Game. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about outdoor leadership, camp operations, and fostering a strong and supportive community. A strong candidate will possess keen organizational skills, value timeliness and urgency, and be able to communicate clearly and efficiently.
This is a part-time, year-round position based in our Brunswick, Maine office during the off-season and on-site at camp during the summer. The Associate Director can expect to work three days a week during the off-season and full time during the camp summer. The position offers a salary of $35,000 per year, along with benefits including health insurance, a retirement plan with an employer match, and paid time off.
