We’re excited to offer Wilderness First Responder (WFR) & WFR Recertification classes at Pine Island this spring, led by expert instructor Jono Bryant of Aztec Travel.
WFR is a comprehensive course providing essential skills for managing medical emergencies in remote settings.
We host these trainings annually for our staff to ensure that they’re prepared for trip leading, but this year we’re also inviting Pine Island alumni and friends to join us! This is a terrific opportunity to refresh your skills, reconnect with camp, and spend time on our beautiful island.
Dates:
WFR re-cert course: June 3rd & 4th
WFR course: June 6th – 13th
Cost:
WFR course (residential): $1,040
WFR course (commuter): $740
WFR re-cert course (residential): $325
WFR re-cert course (commuter): $250
