Dear Friends of Pine Island Camp,
This summer, we partnered with a local videographer to create a short film that captures the spirit of the Oak Island trip, a two-day adventure for our youngest campers.
Hitting the Trail with Pine Island Camp follows nine first-year campers as they embark on their inaugural PIC trip, venturing out across Great Pond to the mysterious Oak Island.
They’re shown traveling aboard the War Yacht, learning to paddle as a team (it’s not easy!), pitching a tent, and building a fire.
The film offers a sneak peek into their first overnight adventure, along with reflections from staff members who were once young campers themselves on the very same trip.
